Hi @ all!

Ich habe ein Problem mit oben genannten Notebook. Ich habe mal dwn unteren Gehäusedeckel über der Festplatte und den anderen mit den Lüftergittern entfernt, die RAM überprüft und die Lüfter und Kühlkörper gereinigt. Danach habe ich noch die Tastatur entfernt um den zweiten RAM-Riegel zu überprüfen und habe anschließend alles wieder zusammen gebaut. Als ich den Rechner starten wollte bekam ich ein BIOS-Fehlersignal: vier kurze Pieptöne. Kann mir jemand von euch bitte verraten was der bedeutet??

Auf das von AMI bin ich auch schon gekommen, allerdings kann ich nicht glauben dass der Timer daran schuld sein soll!
Die genaue BIOS-Bezeichnung weiß ich leider nicht. Ansonsten hätt ich ja schon beim Hersteller nachgesehen.

Also ins Windows komm ich mal nicht rein.
Auf dieser Seite finde ich auch nur einen defekten timer-Baustein! oder kaputte RAM-Blöcke.

Problem erledigt!
Laut Acer Support ist das einer der beiden RAM-Riegel. Nachdem ich den ersten entfernt hatte, lief das Gerät einwandfrei.
