AW: Lüfterkontrolle 5235 / 5635 (z/g/zg): Testing @ troubadix 8940g - alles klar, wo blieb nur mein Optimismus? Das macht die Routine, bin total auf leise geeicht :p @ zsero What can I say - nothing is impossible. Maybe your BiosControlByte=160 really only works for 128 = Stopp 129 = Stufe 1 130 = Stufe 2 131 = Stufe 3 132 = Stufe 4 really no other stops anywhere around? You say "..but nothing happened. It always reverted." So something happened? reverted from what to what? The searching is not easy, within all 256 (except the first eleven) I had only 3 audible constant speeds, the rest was stop or doing nothing. Half a year later I noticed that some of the stops were ultra-slow spinners. To define a stop fan has to spin before writing the number. To define a "nothing do" fan has to spin and after writing you have to wait, fanspeed is going very slowly up to max speed or down to stop. I can only tell my experience, you may have completely different EC behavior. Yes BiosControlByte does directly control fan speed. But as long as every value in BiosControlByte=160 shows eyactly the same behavior you have no chance to disconnect Bios Control. What is if you write first your 128 = Stopp and then try others then 129-132? Maybe you find one to push up speed constantly?
