Hier ist mein englisches Original. Ihr könnt auch gerne auf Deutsch antworten, dass kann ich eh besser ;) Hey there, I'm using an Acer Predator 17 G9-792-79AB notebook with a dedicated NVidia GeForce GTX 970M (the 6 GB DDR5 one). Since the last major Windows 10 Home update (I guess it's 1803 from May?) I'm encountering massive problems with my 970M. Some applications like firefox or remotedesktop are only rendering in some windowed sizes and not in full screen. And most of the games stuck and breakdown on startup. If I deactivate the the GeForce 970 in the device manager and I'm running on the intel shared graphic card, everything works fine, except for the graphic performance of course... I updated the NVidica drivers --> no improvement, problems still occur. I reverted my Windows to an earlier backup, everything is fine then, until I get the major update (I guess it's 1803 from May?) then it's broken again. My current hotfix is to disable the GeForce 970M in the device manager, start an application and activate it, when the application is running. With most of the applications I'm able to run them with the GeForce and decent performance. Is anyone encountering similar problems? Is there a known issue or even better a solution? Or at least a more satisfying hotfix / workaround?
