Acer 8935: interner TFT bleibt Schwarz, Externer funktioniert nach Windows Login

Hallo und traurig für meinen schlechten Deutschen.

Ich benutze einen on-line-Übersetzer, da mein Deutsch nicht sehr gut ist. Ich habe ein sehr großes Problem mit meinem Laptop und ich hoffe, dass Sie mir helfen können. Ich kaufte einen Acer 8935 aus Deutschland und es kam mit Windows Vista, dem ich Löschen es mit einer ubuntu Linuxscheibe habe und bildete 2 Fächer: C-und D.-verließ so kein Wiederaufnahmenfach. Meine Suche zu Ihnen Kerle sind diese:
1. Gibt es das ursprüngliche Bios auf den CD Fahrern? Morgens, das Sie um um dieses bittet, da ich nicht das CD mit mir habe und es in 2-3 Wochen erhalten werde.
2. WinPhlash hat eine Kopie auf meinem Festplattenlaufwerk des ursprünglichen BIOS erstellt, genannt backup FLASHBL.BAK, wie ich verwende es seit dem Ändern seines Namens tue und Verlängerung nicht arbeitet?

als erstes schreibst du das du Ubuntu drauf hast. Weiter unten redest du von einem "Fensterproblem", denke damit ist ein Windowsproblem gemeint?

i used ubuntu just to format the computer since with windows7 there was a problem and it was something which didn't like to my laptop and that i am using windows7 as my main and only OS.

I bought an acer 8935 from germany and it came with windows vista which I have erase it with an ubuntu linux disk and made 2 partitions: C and D. so no recovery partition left.
After I have install everything I have seen on the support page of acer that there are some new bios versions. My original version was 3107. On the page there are :3206,3207 and 3110,3109.
3110 and 3109 are not working since when I execute the WinPhlash program I get an error which says that I am not allowed to run that program and I should restart and log in the administrator account. This is very wrong since I am the only administrator and user of the laptop. So I do not know what is the problem in this.
3206 and 3207 are already in usage. 3206 is more stabile for my laptop, but it is still far from the original version.
What make all the problems is that when I restart my computer or turn it on , from time to time the display stays off and won’t turn on even if I press Fn+F6. But the external VGA port it is working and the external display gets all the image. So when this happens I do not see the boot screen – so I can not enter bios – or the windows loading screen. The screen turns on when I log in into windows.
What is worst is that immediately after the windows loading screen I get a black screen in which windows is telling me that it wants to scan Drive C because there is an “ inconsistency on it “ . if I let it do the scan, the computer freeze and will not do anything even if I leave it to work for an hour. The only method to skip this is to press ESC key when the countdown is at 10. Any later and the computer will freeze when the countdown reaches 1. While the computer is frozen, the Hard Drive LED flickers once a second. Probable this is a windows problem, and this will not be a problem since I can reinstall my windows.
My quest to you guys are this :
1. Is there the original bios on the Drivers CD? Am asking you this since I do not have the CD with me and will get it in 2-3 weeks.
2. WinPhlash has made a copy on my hard drive of the original BIOS, called backup FLASHBL.BAK. how do I use it since changing its name and extension does not work?
3. Can someone help me with a backup copy for the original BIOS and send it to my e-mail address if there is nothing on the Drivers CD ?
4. What other solutions are there if nobody has the bios I want ? any recommendations ?

You just see the windows login screen?
Does your windows work or do you have no possibility to get into the OS?
When you want to use Winphlash, click right mouse on the .exe und choose "run as admin" or something like that. That should solve your administrator-user-problem.

When you want to use Winphlash, click right mouse on the .exe und choose "run as admin" or something like that. That should solve your administrator-user-problem.

well, i don't see the boot screen anymore. i don't see the windows loading screen as well. all i see , if i keep pressing escape to skip the hard drive check up is the logging screen of windows, and then i can use my OS.
but if i don't keep pressing Escape the computer freezes at the hard disk check up.

when i wanted to flash my bios with the 3110 version which given me some error messages, even with your method ( right click -> run as administrator ) i get the same problem. here's a picture and \ or a link to it:

update to my situation:
my windows is really fcked up. basically now it forgets most of the settings i do ( he forgets the way i order files into folders, if i've ask to see the files extensions ). so for this the only solution is to format the hard drive and reinstall a new windows.
but this is half of the problem.
now, from 10-15 restarts , my display has never turn on. it's still black and i have to use an external display.
also i've reverted to 3206. i fear i can't do this many many times.

if i call Acer Support will they be able to help me with an older bios ? what do you think ?

My advice: Keep your fingers away from your bios. Seriously.
I think your bios is working fine. Bios flashes are not be made like monthly updates of mozilla firefox. A fail bios flash can have bad consequences. So if your bios is working, just leave it like that.

I think you should do format C: and reinstall Win7. After that you should install the right chipset driver an then the right driver for your ATI. Then the whole Hybrid-Graphics-Thing should work again.

I think the fact, that sometimes your screen is black comes from wrong installed video drivers.

i think there is a seed of truth in your story since if i want to switch to my integrated video card the screen goes black. this while i am in windows.
still, i can't figure it out why the ati driver would enable when you start the pc.or the intel. tell you why i think this:
when i've formated the windows with the ubuntu disk i had NOTHING on it. and the computer was working fine. i mean no black screens. any ideas why was that ?

last night's update:
i manage to trick the BIOS to accept the 2 versions it didn't like: 3110 and 3109. if you want to do a DOS update for this laptop, don't even bother. at least to me it didn't work not even with the Phoenix Phlahs16 or Phlash1614 (newer version).
everything was done with great effort under windows 7.
so now, i've install the 3109 version which actually is the 3107 version. so i have the original version again. still my problem is by far over. the POST screen is still not on the display, and the windows loading screen are not displayed on the laptop's display. on external display everything is working just fine.
this leads me to believe still something is wrong with the BIOS. maybe something "WE" the users do not know.
am i open to suggestions ...

today's update:
i have phone Acer Support and also an Acer partner.
the Acer Support has told me the laptop is brand new to them so i have to do a trip to them ( which to tell you the truth i don't want to ). they've also ask me to explain my problem to them by e-mail. will wait an answer from them.

as for the Acer Partner, the same thing: take the laptop to their Service and will have to stay in line for 2-6 weeks. the diagnostic of the laptop will take about 2-3 days and since there's a BIOS problem the hole thing will take a week as they said.
still, i need the laptop almost every day for my work ... it's going to be damn hard. also the international guarantee doesn't work with the Acer Partner.
