Acer X3300 oder X3900?

Hallo!
Ich bräuchte Hilfe bei der Kaufentscheidung für einen neuen PC.
Es soll ein small-form-factor-pc sein. Möchte mir auch keinen PC selber zusammenbauen oder zusammenbauen lassen.
Welcher von den beiden PC´s wäre denn von den Daten her der Bessere?

Als zusätzliche Alternative gibt es noch einen X3300 mit dem Prozessor Phenom II x4 925 2,8Ghz.

Ich denke, der Core i5 ist trotz der nur 2 Kerne verglichen mit dem Phenom
schneller in den meisten Anwendungen. Das liegt daran, dass die meisten
Anwendungen keine 4 Kerne simultan ansprechen. Hinzukommt:
2 Kerne brauchen weniger Strom als 4.

Worauf kommt es Dir an? Auf Leistung oder Platz?
Der Intel-Rechner ist theroetisch schneller, hat nur eine 500er Festplatte und 4GB RAM,
der Phenom theoretisch langsamer, hat aber allerdings 1TB-Platte und 6GB RAM.
In der Grafikleistung liegen beide gleichauf. Wozu möchtest den Computer nutzen?

Es kommt mir vor allem auch auf den Platz an. Ich möchte keinen "normalen" Desktop-PC. Habe mir den PC schon einmal angesehen. Er hat ja nur 8,5 Liter Rauminhalt. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
Hauptsächlich brauche ich den PC fürs Internet und fürs Wohnzimmer als Multimedia-PC.
Durch die geringe Größe lässt er sich leicht transportieren und vom Büro ins Wohnzimmer umbauen.

Wie gesagt, gibt es den Rechner mit der Nummer 2 auch mit dem Prozessor Phenom II x4 925 2,8Ghz bei nahezu identischer Ausstattung.
Würde das von der Leistung noch mal einen größeren Unterschied ausmachen?

Wenn Du den PC nur für Internet und Multimedia brauchst, dann sollte der Intel-PC
die bessere Wahl sein. Auf WELCHE Art Platz kommt es Dir nun an?
Gehäusemasse oder Festplattenplatz?

Auf´s Gehäuse! Will den PC halt auch öfters mal ins Wohnzimmer stellen und da sollte das Gehäuse schon nicht so groß sein.
Von der Festplatte her ist es egal ob 500 oder 1000 GB.

So wie ich dich verstehe wär es für meine Anforderungen doch im Prinzip egal welchen Rechner ich nehme. Von der Leistung her würden doch beide Rechner genügen, oder?
Der Intel-Rechner kommt ja erst in ein paar Wochen auf den Markt mit dem neuen Intel-Prozessor.

Von der Leistung her auf sind beide auf jeden Fall mehr als ausreichend.
Wie oben schon gesagt, braucht der Intel aber wohl weniger Strom, da dieser
nur auf 2 Cores basiert. 4 Cores brauchst dann ja nicht.
Wennst noch bischen warten kannst, nimm Dir den Intel-Rechner.
Wäre meine Empfehlung. Diese würde anders lauten, wenn Du gesagt hättest,
Du würdest regelmässig Video-Dateien encoderien/umwandeln oder sonstige
leistungshungrige Software nutzen, bei der ein 4-Kern-Prozessor besser wäre...
Aber dem ist ja nicht so.

Ich kann auf alle Fälle noch warten.
Ab und zu wandele ich auch ein paar Filme von meinem Digicorder um. Kommt aber nicht so oft vor. Sonst eigentlich wirklich nur Internet, Office und DVD´s schauen.
Dann wird´s wohl der Intel-Rechner.

So würde ich auch tendieren. Zumal die neuen Core i5-Prozessoren die neueste
Architektur aufweisen, weniger Abwärme produzieren und dennoch ziemlich
leistungsstark sind. Weniger Abwärme bedeutet auch weniger Lüfterbetrieb - weniger "Lärm"....

Also ich habe den X3300 auch aus gründes des Platzes, des Gewichtes und Lautstärke.
Muss dazu aber sagen das ich diesen auch aufgerüstet habe (Siehe Signatur).

Der Rechner läuft dank des 125Watt prozessors zwar an der
Netzteilgrenze aber dafür richtig flott.

Zusätzlich habe ich mir ein Moduladapter für den auf dem Mainboard befindlichen freien USB Anschluss besorgt
wo der kleine Wlan und Bluetooth stick dran sind. Somit liegt das im Gehäuse direkt und auch noch fast Verlustfrei im
Signal.

Wärme entwicklung liegt zwar etwas hoch (55 - 70 Grad) aber das krieg ich auch noch hin.

Das problem bei dem Rechner ist jedoch die ATI 4650HD Graka. Der lüfter wird nach kürzester zeit zunehmend Lauter und entwickelt ein stressiges Summen.

Der X3900 mit dem core i5-650 soll ja nur 73 Watt verbrauchen. Daher möchte ich ja noch die paar Wochen warten.
Dieser Prozessor hat doch dann auch einen integrierten Grafikchip.

Da ich nicht mit dem Computer spielen will und auch keine großartigen Grafikanwendungen habe sollte der integrierte Grafikchip ja eigentlich ausreichen und damit auch die Lärmentwicklung relativ gering sein.
